Women's relay medal ceremony from Torino
The women's relay medal ceremony took place at the medals plaza in Piazza Castello on Feb. 23, 2005, the night after the relay final. Attending this medal ceremony was easily one one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life!
It was awesome to see the Korean, Canadian and Italian teams receive their medals and flowers on the huge stage, with the crowd going crazy, and then afterwards get some photos and see those gorgeous medals up close. Everyone was so happy, smiling, hugging, posing for photos and celebrating the moment.
